Mary made the stay much nicer. She was kind, quick to help, and kept checking that we had what we needed. The hotel itself was really nice too.

Jamal was there to greet me when I came in. He made me coffee, which I paid for, and chatting with him was a great part of the experience.

The location was good, and there are a few parking spaces, though they only seemed useful because the hotel was nearly empty during our stay. The hotel itself was noisy and needs refurbishment, and it didn’t feel like four stars. We asked for a queen bed, but Mary at reception said the hotel was full and that there were no queen-bed rooms. She said there were only eight in the hotel. Yet Booking and the hotel website showed empty rooms, the booking site let us reserve a queen bed, and the photos showed rooms with them. I even offered to pay more, but Mary still wouldn’t give us a straight answer. Very disappointing.

Jamal was the best receptionist. He put me in one of the nicest rooms you can find, and made me coffee too. I had to pay for it, of course.
