Jerusalem Panorama Hotel

We had a room with a panoramic view of the old town, though not every room has one. The hotel sits above the surrounding buildings, right by Mount of Oil, so the view really is magnificent. Breakfast is served on the top floor. Our room was cleaned every day. One thing to watch: the hot water is very hot and runs out faster than the cold water. I don’t have photos of the room.

The best thing was the view of the old city from our room. The hotel was being renovated while we were there, so the older rooms were due to get updated the following year. The staff were kind and willing to help with anything. A good hotel for what you pay.

The only real downside was cleanliness, especially the hallway carpets. Otherwise, we felt completely comfortable and safe in the area. The staff were extremely helpful during our three-night stay, and it was an easy walk to the old city. Prices were very reasonable, and breakfast was adequate.

I stayed for four days in December 2019. The staff were all very nice, and I enjoyed the eggs at breakfast. Each morning, the view of Jerusalem’s old city was beautiful. We like walking, so the walk was about a mile and a half. The room was clean but extremely old. The TV never worked, even after I asked about it again and again. Eventually I gave up on both the TV and the phone.
