The main issue during our stay was the major construction directly across the street in April 2025. Three buildings were undergoing heavy renovation, and noise could begin as early as 7:00 AM. We wish we'd been told, and I'd avoid rooms facing that side while the work continues. We loved being right on Jaffa Street and within a short walk of the Old City. Our room was clean, though very small, with a tight French-style double bed for two. The balcony made it more enjoyable, but there was barely room to open two suitcases unless we tucked them under the bed. The bathroom had the basics but little space for toiletries. There's a mini fridge, and guests can use the shared kitchen on the first floor, though there's no kettle in the room. Also, there's no elevator, so be ready to carry luggage up the stairs.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a little fridge. I had a good stay and would come back. I was in Jerusalem during Holy Week to visit Christian sites, including the Holy Sepulchre, Place of Ascension in the Mount of Olives, Pater Noster Church, Christ's Prison and Stations of the Cross, as well as Jewish sites like the Ark of Covenant, King David's Tower and Kotel. The owner was a very kind Jewish man who treated me well even though I'm Christian. It was a pleasure sharing experiences with lovely Jews who helped me in different situations around Jerusalem. Greetings to the owner, and thanks for everything! I'm Lidia, the Spanish girl.

The room was on the small side, and we had to tuck our luggage under the bed. The walls are thin enough that you can hear other guests sneezing next door. Still, we loved how easy it was to get around. The tram is close, and the Old Town, Jaffa Road and market hall are all walkable. Our host was very kind and gave us useful advice for visiting mount olive. The owner also let us leave our bags at the hotel for a couple of hours after checkout, which was really thoughtful.

Nathan and Eli made the stay special. They're warm, funny hosts who connect easily with guests, and they were always ready with advice about getting around and understanding this multicultural city. They clearly care about guests' well-being. The hotel is centrally placed, with the train station about a 20-minute walk away and the old city around 15 minutes on foot. My room was simple but renovated and well kept. There are studs on the floor to help prevent slipping. I'd happily stay again, the atmosphere is amazing.

The mosquitoes were the worst part. We killed 15 in the room, then kept waking up to deal with more. Otherwise, the hotel was mostly good. The location is great, fairly close to the old city, and we had a quiet night. The proprietor is kind and experienced. Rooms are small but functional, and ours had a little refrigerator. The shower was a bit messy. There are lots of stairs, which is hard with suitcases.
