The meals were delicious and thoughtfully made, and every part of my stay was handled with care. Most of all, the staff made me feel like family rather than just a guest. Their warmth and attention felt sincere from the moment I arrived. My time at the Mount of Olives was unforgettable, and I honestly can't recommend a better place to stay in Jerusalem. It exceeded all my expectations.

The dirtiest hotel I've stayed in by far. There were stains, food marks, and dust, and the bedding smelled bad. At prayer times, the mosque speakers felt like they were right inside the room. We saw the women cleaning rooms every day, but the place still didn't feel properly clean. The hotel is on the Palestine side. The parking they advertise is just an old lot across the road, and it's always packed.

I stayed here for over a month, and the friendly staff really made my trip to Jerusalem more enjoyable. They treated me like a proper guest and were always willing to help. It felt like I was part of the hotel family. The rooms were generally clean, though sometimes I had to ask for more regular cleaning. When I did, they were happy to accommodate me. It's up a big hill, which could be a challenge for some. I found the climb manageable in the evening, and on days I didn't want to walk, a taxi cost £8 or 30 sheckels. The hotel prices are competitive and relatively cheaper than other hotels. If a 15 to 20 minute walk to Masjid Al Aqsa works for you, it's a good option. The Mount of the Olives is also an important religious site for Christians and Jews, with plenty to see around it. There are room options for different budgets. The refurbished rooms on the third floor were very nice, while the other floors had the basic commodities. I usually missed breakfast because it closed at 9:30 am, but whenever I asked for something afterward, they always gave me food.

Getting here on foot with luggage was the difficult part, since it really is a mount. Once there, check-in and checkout were easy, and either could be done at any time of day. The room was neat and seemed recently renovated. For the price, the bathroom was especially good. Walking to the Lion's Gate in the Old City takes about 15 minutes.
