Sergei Palace Hotel

It's a quiet, lovely place with a great location. You can walk to both the Old City, via the New Gate or Jaffa Gate, and Mahane Yehuda market. The staff were unbelievably friendly. One of them even went out to buy something we'd run out of.

I was there for one night and found the staff very friendly. The neighborhood seemed quite posh and felt very safe. It's about a 10-minute walk to the old town Jerusalem wall, which made sightseeing convenient. A very nice hotel, and I'd happily recommend it for a stay in the Jerusalem area.

The location made it easy for us to walk down to Jaffa St. for shopping, meals, and whatever else we needed. We were there as a family for five nights in November, and felt very welcome. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Yousef was especially sweet, and we were so glad to meet him. Breakfast was wonderful, and my kids and I got to try lots of new things. Our spacious room had everything we needed. The grounds looked beautiful, especially when they were lit up at night. The cats and kittens were so friendly, and made my girls feel right at home. We loved our stay and I'll keep recommending this hotel. Thank you for making us feel welcome in Jerusalem. We'll be back!

We could walk to restaurants and shops nearby, and Mamilla and Jaffa Gate were an easy walk too. From there, getting to the wall took about 30 minutes. The grounds were exquisite, the restaurant was pleasant and shaded, and our room was big. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were kind, efficient, and accommodating. They got our rooms ready early, lent my daughter sunglasses, and did lots of other little thoughtful things. It was amazing, well beyond what I expected.
