I had one good room, then switched and got a very different experience. The triple rooms are dated and need serious updating. I found ants, and while in bed I felt like bugs were crawling on me, possibly the ants. The bathroom was small, and there were several dirty towels with hair on them. The owner complained that the government makes hospitality businesses struggle, but he should maintain the hotel and do good work instead of blaming the Israeli governing people.
