Stay Jaffa Jerusalem

The staff were accommodating, and I’d stay here again. There are plenty of places to eat on Jaffa Road. Getting to the Old City on foot is convenient, and Yad Vashem is reachable by direct tram and a walk. The Israel Museum is less convenient, with bus routes that I found confusing. My apartment was huge, with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, good hot water, and an efficient front-loading washer and dryer, which I used. There are no USB plugs. I’d forgotten my international adapter, but charging from the USB slot behind the satellite receiver worked fine. Parking isn’t provided at the apartments. The lot is a 10-15 minute drive away, then a 5-7 minute walk back. One-way streets slow the drive down. If you need bathroom handrails, ask ahead: stepping up into the tub shower may be difficult if you’re less agile.

This is worse than either an Airbnb or a hotel. There’s no real communication, just endless automated messages from a robot, and nobody available to answer questions or sort out problems. It feels like a pointless company built entirely around AI to make money. Don’t stay here.

We’ve stayed at jaffa’s apartments three times now, and each visit has been the best experience we’ve had. The apartments are beautiful and CLEAN, and the staff have always been excellent with us, really, really nice. We loved it and will be back!

I had a great stay and the location was perfect for Shabbat. The room was clean and communication was very good. I was in room 6 on the first floor, and my only problem was that the air-conditioning didn’t work properly.
