The rooms looked quite nice at first, but the rest of my stay was deeply disappointing and nowhere near what I expected from a five-star hotel. The hallway was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in days, and nobody was outside to help with my luggage when I arrived. The worst part was coming back one evening to find my room door wide open with all my belongings inside. The porch door in the other room I’m staying in had also been left open, and those doors don’t even have locks. I contacted security right away, but they brushed it off and said the cleaning crew had probably left the door open, as if that were acceptable. Nobody seemed concerned, and I got no apology or compensation. I’d been looking forward to this stay and really wanted to love the place, but now I feel unsafe and disappointed. They handled this terribly, and I won’t give them another chance.

The pool was spacious, well kept, and a great place to unwind after a day out. Breakfast also had plenty of delicious options. My room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to dive right in. The location made it easy to reach the city’s main attractions with a short drive. The staff were attentive and professional throughout, with truly high-end service. I had a wonderful stay at the Theatron Jerusalem hotel and would highly recommend it.

I’m usually quite generous when reviewing hotels, but this stay was a real letdown. The bathroom had stains on both the toilet and shower, and there was an unpleasant smell. At breakfast, we arrived at the very last minute and staff rushed us, with one person standing over us while we served ourselves. I’d arranged a late checkout with the receptionist when we arrived. Still, the next morning someone opened the door without knocking while my friend was undressed and asked when we planned to leave. When I asked for a fresh robe, they knocked but spoke dismissively and questioned what I wanted. Later, after returning from the spa in my robe, I found my key no longer worked because they’d locked the door, assuming I was checking out despite my repeated explanations. At reception, Naser spoke dismissively and told me, “Give me the key and let’s finish with this.” For the price I paid, there was absolutely no value, and the whole experience was very disappointing.

The room’s ground-floor view of bushes, with people walking past outside, made it uncomfortable to spend time there. Apart from that, everything was good: it was very clean, the service was great, and the spa, including the pool, was very good.
