Villa Albi - Machne Yehuda Hotel

The market is right there, and being able to wander through Mahane Yehuda, take in all the colors, smells and tastes, enjoy the nightlife, then be back in a quiet room within a minute was a real treat. Villa Albi Hotel felt like a peaceful pocket in the middle of the city. Its historic Jerusalem character works well with the newer design, and the whole place feels warm and carefully put together. Our room was spotless, well equipped, and had a really comfortable bed. You can tell they’ve paid attention to the little things. The staff were lovely too, always ready to help or suggest a tucked-away market restaurant, and they made the stay feel personal rather than like a big hotel. We had a great base for our trip and would happily come back soon.

The service was excellent, and the place has a real Jerusalem feel. We had a very nice stay. It’s peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and above all, clean and neat.

The only real problem for us was the shower, which felt cramped and had nowhere to hang towels. Otherwise, the apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, and had thoughtful touches like an espresso machine, good linens, and thick, luxurious towels. The WhatsApp service was excellent too. We booked the family suite for three adults. It had a roomy bedroom, a living area, and a kitchenette on the first floor. The room faced the street, so there was no view, but we preferred it to being on an upper floor since there’s no elevator. It’s a lovely apartment hotel, just a few minutes on foot from Mahane Yehuda market.
