The service was nice, and meeting a chicken made my vacation 69 times better since it’s my favorite animal. The room was decent and the bed really comfortable, though it was a little dirty. The bedroom itself was pretty nice, but the toilet could have been cleaner. There were chill couches, and not much food, though I wasn’t hungry anyway.

The setting is beautiful, with an amazing starry sky, but the stay was disappointing and the price felt completely unjustified. The rooms were worn, dirty and poorly maintained, and the blankets were dusty. The terrace shade was old and falling apart, even though shade is pretty basic in the desert. There was no soap in the ecological toilets, and the paths to the showers and toilets were dark and disorganized. We booked a room for four, but they made up only one bed and left us linen for the rest. That might be understandable at a basic rate, but they charge like a boutique zimmer and this place isn’t one. From arrival, we didn’t feel welcome; with a few small touches the place could be magical, but it was missing most of them. The supposedly quiet area was also near an army training shooting area, with gunshots all night.
The rooms are lovely, with carefully chosen decor, and the regional food was fresh and tasty. I also really appreciated the hosts’ hospitality. It’s a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy nature and experience an important part of Israel’s spirit, the idea of living and cultivating the desert. You feel far from everything, yet it’s a deeply calming and inspiring stay. I’d recommend it to anyone.
The night sky and the quiet surroundings were unforgettable. It’s a special place to disconnect and be in nature, and one of the most breathtaking, peaceful spots in Israel. The meals were incredible too, with a warm home-cooked dinner and a fresh breakfast buffet.
We came for dinner and enjoyed both the food and wine from the neighboring vineyard. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Our rental car got stuck out of reception, and the chef even came out at night to help us push it back to the main road. Great service and a great place :)
