It has a comfortable, homey feel, and the hostel is clean and well organized. The staff are friendly, genuine and helpful, and know the area well. They helped guests plan hikes and gave especially useful safety advice for desert trails. Really nice place, recommended!
We arrived the day after the flash flooding, when many trails were closed. The staff helped us figure out where it was safe to hike. They were super friendly, and the hostel was very clean and well managed. Great location too. Highly recommended!
Right across the road there’s an outlook over the whole makhtesh, and the trail down is just a minute away. The hostel itself felt cozy and homey, and was so clean we were comfortable walking barefoot. The staff and volunteers were lovely and helpful, with great trail advice and clear directions for getting around. My time in the hostel and Mitzpe Ramon was relaxing and fun. I highly recommend staying here.
The owner knows the region inside out and is a great person to ask about hiking routes or flood warnings in the Wadis. Set right by the Makhtesh, the place is handy for hikes and for catching sunsets or sunrises. It’s a small, very clean hostel with a lovely family feel.
The location near the crater is ideal, and you can get breakfast for 10 NIS. They’ll also keep your luggage after checkout. It’s a small, pleasant hostel with a relaxed, familiar feel. The two girls really care about their guests and have made it into a lovely green Vintage Hostel. The rooms aren’t big, but the atmosphere is great.
