A nice little hotel near Carmel Market. The office shuts at 18:00, so let the manager know if you'll arrive later. They'll email you the details, including a code for the front door and your room number. You can get into the room without a key.

We had a room booked several weeks ahead, but last weekend they canceled our reservation without asking. No email, no call. When someone finally answered the phone, they claimed the credit card hadn't gone through, even though the booking website offered no credit card payment option, only payment at check-in. The owners apparently saw a chance to make more money from spontaneous rentals during a busy tourist weekend and screwed over people who had booked in advance. Shame on you. This hotel is a place of liars and scammers, and the worst option for staying in Tel Aviv. They can cancel your booking for no good reason just because they want to rent the room at a better price. Be careful and stay away from this place!

The manager is nice, but the price is too high when you can't sleep peacefully. It's a really noisy, busy area. Some windows face a bunch of air conditioners, and some won't close, so there's humming everywhere. There are huge ants in the kitchen and peeling plaster too.
