Golan Hotel Tiberias

The lake view from the hotel is fantastic, and I really liked the grand piano. Staff were friendly, while the rooms and dining area were just average. Dinner had an interesting buffet with fish, chicken, and beef each time. At breakfast, I especially liked the pastries and cakes. If you're visiting places in the north, it's a good spot for a couple of nights 😉

We had a nice time at this quiet boutique hotel. It's not fancy, but the service is good. Most of the staff were welcoming, though some seemed impatient when we made requests and not quite used to the demanding local clientele. The food is basic by Israeli standards, but very good, and top notch by international standards. We'd consider staying again.

The building looks okay from outside, but the room felt quite old. Food was nothing special, just the usual buffet at breakfast and dinner. There isn't a laundry service, and the pool closes at 7pm. Wi-Fi was fair, with dead spots in the room. The surrounding area is quiet, but there's not much to explore nearby.

Nothing fancy, just a clean room, decent breakfast, helpful staff, a fairly good bar, and an easy location for the bus lines. The buses in Tiberias aren't very reliable, though that's not the hotel's fault. I enjoyed my stay.
