Breakfast was generous and nicely presented, and Dora and Tommy, the chef, were flexible about guests' breakfast times. Dora was a wonderful host who went well beyond what was expected. The accommodation was friendly and affordable, within walking distance of the town centre, the Manx museum, Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre. Our beds were comfortable and warm, and the bathroom was well equipped. The room had the basics, including a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, TV, hairdryer and a decent wardrobe, plus a bedside unit with a lamp and USB and USB-C charging points. Wifi was included at no extra cost.

Dora took such care of everyone, and Tommy made a superb Manx Breakfast. This lovely guest house is just off the promenade, near all the attractions. We'd recommend Athol House to friends and family visiting the Isle Of Man.

Dora was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our family of four had a great stay in the deluxe family room, which was spacious, clean and amazing. The location was perfect for the town, tramway and promenade. Thanks, we'll book again.

The staff were super nice, and the food was Gordon Ramsay level. It was me and my family, but they only had a bed for two, so I had to sleep on the floor. I'm still sore from it.
