The little turret area on the third floor was lovely, with seats where we could enjoy the sea view. We stayed last weekend, 21st-23rd Nov, and the receptionist gave us a warm welcome and explained the services, our room, breakfast times, and WiFi codes. We enjoyed breakfast both mornings, especially the eggs cooked to order. The team at Opul Boutique Hotel in Douglas were welcoming, helpful, and professional. We’d highly recommend it and wish them well with their new venture. Sheona and David, Glasgow

Breakfast was included, which was a nice extra, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very convenient location near the town center. For the quality, the price was reasonable and good value.

A handy spot right on the promenade beside the main shopping street, with good beds and bathrooms. Breakfasts are great, too. It’s especially well suited to a short stay and good value.

The location is good, but the room was dirty. There was mold on the showerhead and parts of the bathtub, and the shampoo bottle had hair in it. Nobody cleaned the room. Noise from people above and below was easy to hear, too. Never again.

The location is incredible, right on the promenade in the center, close to shopping and transport. The staff were friendly from the moment I arrived, the price was very reasonable for my dates, and breakfast was included with lots of vegetarian options, which I really appreciated. My bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked very well. There were a couple of annoyances: the door lock wouldn’t let me double lock it from inside, and there were no towels in the room, so I had to use the bathrobes to dry off. Construction right outside went on late at night and could be disturbing. That’s outside the hotel’s control, and hopefully it’ll stop soon.
