We left and booked somewhere else after spending 20-30 minutes confused and waiting. Our Hotels.com reservation was prepaid for four adults, but the first staff member said it was for “2 adults and 2 children” and walked off without explaining or offering help. Another staff member then spoke to us in a hostile, accusing way and said we had to pay another £60 on the spot. She went behind a locked door, leaving us waiting again. There was no apology or explanation. The lobby was covered in rules and threats, including that guests could be removed without explanation, that there were fines, that the elevator only ran limited hours, and that reception was closed during breakfast. It felt like a low-budget authoritarian hostel, not a welcoming hotel. We didn't find the place clean, friendly, or professional, and the staff could have handled the situation in many ways but chose rudeness, avoidance, and no accountability. We booked a different hotel with polite staff and clean facilities. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone, except maybe my worst enemies. Avoid it.

The location is great, and I’ve stayed here several times. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help.

Just got back from five nights here, my second visit. The room was lovely and comfortable, and the people were friendly. No complaints at all. The sea and beach are right across the road. I’ll be back.

Good value budget accommodation in a perfect spot, with free on-street parking right outside.
