Hotel Somraj Regency

I couldn't bring myself to stay at OYO Somraj Regency, Agartala. On entering, the stairs had a terrible stench, and the corridors were dirty and poorly maintained, giving the whole place an unhygienic feel. I had to hurry back outside to get fresh air and collect myself. There was nobody at reception. I waited several minutes and called multiple times, but got no answer. After traveling, finding the place empty and unwelcoming was the last thing I needed. The neglected corridors and lack of staff on duty also left me feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. OYO needs to look seriously at the property's management and upkeep. It failed to provide basic hospitality, and I wouldn't recommend it until it is properly cleaned, staffed, and managed.

The room and toilet were filthy, with mosquitoes everywhere. This is the worst hotel, and it doesn't deserve even one star. Never stay here.

I felt harassed by the terrible service. I called the number three times, and each time the executive said to hold for 2-3 minutes, but left me waiting 20 minutes. The room still wasn't booked, so I had to hang up each time. Please don't book through OYO, you'll be harassed too. They don't respect your time. Nonsense.

I paid 2500 rs and got a trip that felt like a living hell. There was no hospitality, the bathroom was dirty, the water filter didn't work, and I was bitten by 1000s of mosquitoes. When I asked for cleaning, they told me it was already clean. They didn't provide anything, not even complimentary water. What a nonsensical environment. Very bad, and I wouldn't recommend anyone book this hotel.
