There was no hot water, and I saw bugs and mosquitoes. There’s no car park, so we had to leave the car on the road, which didn’t feel safe. A useless place to stay.

The lodge is easy to spot on the main road, and it’s close to the market and four theatres. The railway station is about half a kilometre away. It has TV, room service, and CCTV surveillance, and there were no mosquito problems. Water and power were good too. I stayed in a single-bed non-AC room. It was good, and the cleanliness wasn’t bad. There’s a dormitory as well, though they seem to fill the rooms first. The downside is the noise from traffic and horns, which may disturb your sleep. There are also two mobile phone towers on the building.

I only went in to freshen up, but they charged me about 1600 for a basic room. They seem to think it’s a five-star hotel 😂. I wouldn’t recommend it to families. Choose carefully.

The room wasn’t clean, and whenever I pressed the call bell, nobody came. It felt like even if you were dying and ringing for help, no one would show up. Great service, I’m impressed. The TV was just there on the wall and didn’t work. After I complained several times over five days, they said they’d change the TV or move me to another room. Their reply was, “You can leave the hotel.” The manager, Kumar, behaved very badly too. This isn’t a place for families, more like a hotel for couples to spend the night. They charge them 1800 rupees for one day, or even one minute. They make money from those overnight couples, so why would they care about ordinary people? I have a lot more to say. Please don’t go there. I had a very bad experience, and other people I didn’t know were facing the same issues. If you want a cheap hotel at a low price, go ahead. The owner is a bank manager at Sahara bank. They have plenty of money and earn from couples spending the night. Please don’t go.
