Boboy was such a kind, respectful host. I asked him for a lot of help, and he really came through, even arranging a rickshaw, waiting for the driver, and negotiating the fare. Ajay was lovely too, helping me check in very early and keeping the hostel clean. If I make it back to Agra, I’d stay here again. One tip: a bus terminal is far from town and a ride there can cost about 400 rupees, but Boboy can book a bus from a station nearby. I only found that out later 😂

The rooftop has a cool view, and the people running the hostel are lovely and happy to help with information or other things. There are lockers in the rooms, and the mattress and thick blanket were fine. The water boiler takes 10-15 minutes, then the shower is hot. The dorm beds wobble a bit and have no curtains. There’s no AC or heater when it gets cold, and it can be noisy. The door has a slider lock that works from either side, but locking it from inside means other guests can’t get in, so it isn’t really a proper inside lock. These are just things to know. I’d stay here again, though I won’t be coming back to Agra.

The rooms are fine and the location is great. The rooftop cafe was pretty rubbish, though, and breakfast was just a plain omelette with toast and the thinnest smear of jam.

The rooftop view of the Taj Mahal was amazing, and the prices were very reasonable. The owner was kind and really helpful with all sorts of things. A nice hostel.

It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Taj Mahal, which was perfect for me. My room was comfortable, clean, and tidy, and the manager was super nice and always looked out for me. I loved staying here.
