Karthika Residency By OYO Rooms

The room and bathroom were in terrible shape. The shelf was broken, the shower didn’t work, and neither did the flush. The blanket even had a hole someone had made with a cigarette. Although I’d booked an AC room, mosquitoes were everywhere and I couldn’t sleep. The room was dirty, with stained, unwashed sheets and pillow covers. I felt unclean just sitting on the bed. I’m very upset and disappointed with my stay at Karthika Residency. I expected somewhere decent, but the whole experience was a nightmare and a stressful waste of money. I can’t recommend it unless they fully renovate and learn to keep the place clean.

There were lots of mosquitoes in the AC room, and the ceiling fan blades were very dirty. The room itself was average. No restaurant on site, and I didn’t see a good one nearby. Housekeeping staff weren’t available in the evening. Checkout was at 11:00 am, and even though the hotel was empty, they wouldn’t give me an extra hour. I’m not happy with the stay.

Karthika residency was peaceful and amazing to stay at 😊 The staff were kind and helpful, and their excellent service made the trip memorable and better than we expected.

I stayed one night, and getting there was easy, just a two-minute walk from Railwaystation platform no 6. Good for anyone staying a night or two. They have a restaurant on the premises, and you can also order through Swiggy or Zomato. Overall, good.
