The property is older, and cleanliness could use some improvement. Management could also pay closer attention to the details. Still, it was a comfortable, affordable stay: the view rooms were spacious and comfortable, and good value for the price. The food was fresh and really good, and the staff were friendly. It wasn’t bad at all, and with a little more care this could be a solid 5-star stay. A great choice for an affordable, comfortable visit.

The walk to Mall road is about 800 meters, and it can be tricky with kids since there’s a hike involved. Breakfast was limited and a bit cold, though I hope they improve it. I stayed one night with breakfast and found the experience good and satisfactory. For the price, the rooms were spacious, clean, and very good, with a lovely view. Service was excellent, and it’s a good budget option for a comfortable stay.

The views from our rooms were beautiful, whether it was sunny or snowing. We were in Shimla for its first major snowfall in four years, which was stunning but very cold. Mr Mohan Negi and his team kept us safe and warm, made sure we had everything we needed, and fed us extremely well. The food was outstanding. We were snowbound for a day, but enjoyed the restaurant and the friendly atmosphere with the other guests. The staff were wonderful. We’ll be back!

We cancelled our 3-night stay within hours because this property was unpleasant, inconvenient, and unprofessional. Treebo itself was helpful and gave clear follow-ups, but the hotel fell short of any professional standard. You can’t reach the hotel by car, so don’t book if you have luggage or elderly travelers. My elderly clients had to walk the steep distance several times just to coordinate their stay. They also demanded extra cash for early check-in even though we had already paid online. The emailed invoice shows we were charged twice for the same early check-in, once online and once in cash. After overcharging us, staff showed no empathy. They made my elderly clients climb back up to the hotel on foot just to sign for a refund of the extra cash deposit.
