The food was good, and there’s parking available. Rooms are decent and easy on the wallet, though service was a little slow. I had a good experience overall. The Taj Mahal is about 1 km away, and Agra Fort is around 5 km away.

The rooms and location are good, but the staff treated us rudely. My husband and I asked for a gas cylinder so we could cook our own food, and they provided one at an agreed rate of 80 per kg. Over our two-night stay, we used only 300-350 grams of gas, according to the cylinder’s weight when it was checked on the last day. At reception, an older man sitting on the sofa, who I guessed was the owner’s father, accused us of lying about the amount. He insisted we pay 150, said he didn’t care, then argued and shouted at us. There are many other good hotels nearby, so I’d avoid this one.

The rooms, parking, and location are good, and it works well if you’re looking for a budget stay. The staff came across as arrogant, though. Prices are around 1000 rupees, give or take, depending on bargaining and when you visit. In Agra, rooms tend to be cheaper in summer and on weekdays than on weekends and in winter.

At HOTEL SAGAR, the staff were friendly and professional throughout. They helped with local attraction suggestions and dealt with my requests or concerns promptly. Their attentiveness made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
