Hotel Jalsa by OYO

Very bad experience with Hotel Jalsa. I'm the owner of a travel agency in Delhi and had arranged a stay here for my guest, who had online work to do. The hotel's Wi-Fi wasn't working, and he suffered a lot of losses. His property in Agra is very big and bad.

Miss Sweta at reception listened early the next morning and moved me to another one of their properties. I paid the difference, and that stay was peaceful. Before that, though, we spent a sleepless night in extremely cold weather. The first room was filthy, as was the bedding, and the mattresses were in terrible shape. The lift didn’t work, the room wouldn’t lock, there was no TV or ventilation, and the flush was broken. I paid around ₹1400 for a double room that I felt should have cost under ₹500. Neither the merchant nor the hotel staff would listen or offer a refund for the online payment. They just said, “You have to stay like this; otherwise, we have no option.” I think this is Agra’s worst hotel, and OYO is misleading customers by advertising it as highly rated and clean.

The bathroom and staff were what I disliked most. The place was incredibly dirty, and there’s a dog that poops all over the hotel. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. Don’t waste your money coming here.

I had a terrible stay with my family and children, and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There was no hot water, soap, or nearness in the bathrooms, and the buckets and mugs were dirty. The bathrooms also had no exhaust fans. The AC stopped suddenly and made a loud noise at night, and there wasn’t a remote in the room. There was an old junk tab in the washroom and an electric socket open in the bathroom. Insects and cockroaches were all over the hotel, including in the beds, and rats were roaming free at reception. A dog was also loose in reception and ate its food on the sofa meant for guests. Management communication and follow-up were poor. I’m giving it no stars. Pics attached.
