Hotel Taj Ansh

We’d only checked in a few hours earlier with five family members, and already the experience was awful. The hotel is dirty and noisy because it sits in a local market. Our linens had ketchup and other stains; staff said the new owner hadn’t provided replacements, so they couldn’t help. The bathroom smelled because of the exhaust, and when we complained someone just sprayed room freshener. In room 204, the switchboard was hanging open with wires exposed, and they patched it with Scotch tape. There were no AC remotes either. A staff member turned on the AC rudely, took the remote away, promised to return with batteries, and never came back. The staff were extremely rude, the WiFi didn’t work, and the place is shabby. We chose it based on good reviews, but the hotel had apparently changed its name to Taj Paradise and OYO hadn’t made that clear. I’d say avoid it if cleanliness matters.
