Leo Grand Hotel

The room I got did not have AC or other basic facilities that were listed on Agoda, so what was provided was very different from what the booking page showed. Communication was difficult too, because the receptionist couldn't speak or understand English, making it almost impossible to explain the problem or get help. I had paid for my room through Agoda before arriving, but the property said they hadn't received the payment and wouldn't honor the booking. I ended up paying ₹1300 in cash, and they gave me no bill or receipt. The reception was also supposed to be open 24 hours, but the shutter was down when I got there, so I had to call for someone to open it. After a long journey, that was really inconvenient. There was a menu card in the room, but no contact details, so it was no use. They said there was a restaurant nearby, but I didn't see anyone there and it looked closed or abandoned. I had to order food online instead. It was a frustrating, unprofessional stay. I strongly don't recommend this property unless they seriously improve the service, communication, and honesty around online bookings.
