OYO 63489 Hotel Paradise

I booked this place only because it was pet friendly, and I’d called ahead to confirm a 10 am check-in. I arrived at 11:49 am but still waited half an hour because they said the room wasn’t ready. The blanket hadn’t been changed and was burnt from smoking, there were cigarette buds in the bathroom, and the washroom was filthy. The commode was broken, and even basic bathroom utilities were missing. We left to visit Taj, and I was glad I’d left a camera in the room because my dog was there. I’d told the staff about my dog, but they switched off the room’s electricity anyway. I called repeatedly for half an hour before they turned the main electricity switch back on. That night there was no water in the washroom, and it took three calls for them to switch on the motor. I asked for tea, but the cups were filthy and unhygienic, and the tea was extremely sweet and basically a waste. We somehow got through the night. The whole next night, they had the AC off. I asked them to turn it on, but they still didn’t turn it on the next day, even though I’d booked an AC room. If you have any option for your pet, avoid this hotel by all means or you’ll regret booking here. Don’t pay them in full in advance. They also tried to get hold of my government ID card, so don’t let them keep it. I don’t trust the staff, and they don’t provide the service shown on the website. They’ll switch the AC off a few minutes after payment, and then you can’t do anything about it.
