Sojourn Mini-Hotel

It’s in a quiet spot away from the main road, so there isn’t much noise, though places are still nearby. Rickshaws are easy to get since they keep passing through. I stayed for one day. The rooms were clean and decent, and the staff were helpful.

The food was homely and tasted good. There’s a pure veg restaurant at the property, but outside non-veg food isn’t allowed, which could be limiting for some guests. We paid for their most expensive Superior Room and expected better comfort and service. We arrived around 8 AM hoping for an early check-in, but were told it wasn’t possible because they have only one Superior Room. Official checkout is 11 AM, and we still had to remind staff to follow up with the previous guests. Nobody took the initiative, and that laid-back approach continued during the stay. The front desk staff were rude and seemed indifferent to guest comfort. Follow-ups were poor and staff generally lacked initiative, though other team members were comparatively better. The bathroom had no proper ventilation, and an unpleasant smell came in through the windows. The balcony was there but inaccessible, which defeated the point of choosing a Superior Room. There was no suitable place to eat in the room, and the hotel has no dedicated dining area, so that was inconvenient. The hotel has potential, but staff attitude, guest management, cleanliness, and responsiveness need significant improvement. For the price, the experience fell well below expectations.

Good value for the price. The staff were very nice, the rooms clean, and the food decent. They also brought extra blankets and a hair dryer when I asked. Thanks, it was a perfect stay!

The food was super amazing, especially the poha, aaloo paratha, and puri sabzi. Rooms looked nice and were clean, and the view was amazing too. Head up to the terrace for a glimpse of the Taj Mahal.
