The Empire by Treebo

The a la carte food was good, but breakfast didn’t match the hotel tariff, and the hotel wasn’t worth the price. We weren’t given proper towels until we asked. Manish, who the hotel says is their agent, gave us one account of the extra stay time, then told the hotel something else. Our tariff was supposed to include everything according to him, but the bill was different. The woman at reception didn’t use bad words, but had no manners when speaking to customers. It’s an average hotel. It was my mistake to bring my family here, and I’d ask others not to book it.

I stayed on 27th Dec 2025 and had a very bad experience. Basic things you expect in a hotel were missing: the main door lock was broken, bedding and the room were dirty, bathroom taps leaked, tiles were broken, and there were no toiletries or towels. They didn’t even have bottled water. When I asked, they said, “Bottles Khatam Ho Gayi Hain Order Kiya Hai.” I checked in at 9 PM, so it was hard to find another hotel at that hour. I’m very disappointed with Treebo for having this kind of service provider in its chain, and wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was unhygienic, with a floor that hadn’t been cleaned, stained curtains and sofa, torn wallpaper, and a broken key card holder that made getting in difficult. The toilet was stained and poorly cleaned, the taps didn’t work properly, and a persistent bad smell made the washroom unpleasant to use. The hotel’s dull, neglected atmosphere and poor upkeep made the stay uncomfortable. It’s also in a poor area, which didn’t help. From start to finish, The Empire by Treebo, Agra was a letdown, and it wasn’t worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting basic comfort and cleanliness.

The staff were helpful and did what we asked, but they couldn’t fix the problems caused by poor maintenance. Several things were missing or damaged, including the AC, toilet flush, and shower, and there was no clothes hanger. The rooms didn’t meet even basic hotel standards.
