Check the bill carefully before paying, since there may be calculation errors. When I pointed one out, they just apologized. Also ask clearly about the AC remote before booking. Guests aren’t given control, and they usually don’t provide the remote. The AC was only kept on until around 8 AM, even though summer had started. Basic things like bath soap, handwash, a toothbrush, and toothpaste weren’t available, which was inconvenient. Sharing this in case it helps someone avoid surprises.

We were brought here by an auto driver, and it seemed the driver and hotel management were both taking commission. The lodge appears to work with auto drivers to get commission, with customers being overcharged. The room was dirty and smelled bad. Cleanliness, maintenance, service, and facilities were all poor, and staff gave no proper response. The staff behaviour was bad, and I was completely disappointed. It was a terrible experience, not worth the money, and I’d never stay here again. Please don’t go. I wouldn’t recommend this lodge to anyone.

The receptionist actually said, “kya kar lenge aap?” (What can you do?) when I raised an issue. Staff ignored requests, there was no hot water in the taps, and even tea took an hour to arrive. Don’t be fooled by how the place looks, I found the experience traumatic and it was the worst hotel stay of my life. If you’re looking for somewhere good in Agra, Joey's Hostel is the best place there.

We stayed two nights, drawn in by the building’s appearance, but the service inside was very poor. The front office and other staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, and there was no hospitality. For the price, the rooms weren’t clean: the sheets, pillow covers, and towels were very dirty, and staff didn’t change them when we asked. There were no doormats, so after using the toilet the whole floor got wet and dirty. In winter, hot water was available only from 6 to 8 AM and 7 to 8 PM, with no geyser in the rooms, which felt unacceptable given the high rates. After checkout, staff tried to get our auto driver to overcharge us and give them a share, since they couldn’t get a tip or extra money from us. That felt completely unethical. They fool guests with a good-looking exterior but provide poor service and no cleanliness inside. It felt like they were looting people by any means. Don’t choose this hotel.
