The family were lovely, and their home-cooked food was delicious. We liked the village feel, even though the roads were a bit rough, and it’s still close to town. We had a room rather than one of the huts because we were traveling with our child and pet dog. The room cost less, so don’t expect hotel extras: we got only two towels, and the small bathroom smelled a little. We were a small family and adjusted to the surroundings, so the experience was good for us.

We loved being away from the bustle, with village life and nature all around this beautiful property. Wild and domestic animals are there, and the family who owns it made it a lovely place to relax in Agra. The Taj Mahal is only 10-15 minutes away by car, and the busy city is close too. Lokendra and his wife cook really delicious, nourishing food. Our room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the fairy lights gave it a magical feel. We also saw six puppies being born, an amazing and beautiful moment. We stayed three nights, and couldn’t have found a better place.

The countryside setting and the fresh buffalo-milk coffee were great, and most of the stay was positive. But the payment at the end really spoiled it. The owner had us cancel the booking and promised a discount, then charged us more and added services, even though he still owed us change from the full amount we paid on day one. If you stay, have exact money ready for everything and don’t cancel the reservation once you’ve arrived.

We had an enjoyable stay in Agra. The host was easy to communicate with and helped us arrange a tuk tuk at a reasonable price. We also really liked the food our hosts made. The room was nice, though it could have been cleaner.
