The receptionist was rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. We had booked two rooms for two nights, and after checking out of one room in the morning, we kept our luggage in the other and told the staff the guest from the vacated room would leave at about 8:30 PM. They kept asking when that person was leaving, as if they suspected we were going to share one room. The rooms were small and smelled unpleasant, and the management seemed disorganized and overly suspicious. The location was convenient, though, with lots of restaurants nearby and a shopping hub less than a kilometer away.

We waited about an hour for a room, but they never provided one, so my friends and I went to the restaurant instead. The restaurant staff were all well behaved. I loved the food and the atmosphere there.

The room was small and very damp, with mold on the walls and curtains. The bedsheets and towels were really dirty, there was a strong cigarette smell, and the exhaust fan didn't work. Even the main door had no handle. With maintenance this bad, I don't see why anyone should pay this much. Not recommended.

They said they had no bedsheets or blankets when I asked why these hadn't been changed after the previous guests checked out. The room smelled of smoke, there was hair everywhere, and it seemed like nobody had cleaned it. The blanket had fungus all over it. They also don't let relatives visit after 10, so be aware before booking.

The rates are competitive for the area, and this modern hotel near Marquis Street was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed a pleasant stay, and the rooms were comfortable. The bathroom locks need attention, though. One faulty lock meant I had to change rooms, and the lock in the second room was still a bit unreliable. Fixing that would give guests more privacy.
