The compact walk-in rainfall shower and bathroom may feel a little tight for families, though they seem fine for solo or business travelers. I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad on Ashram Road last week and found it a dependable, clean, modern option for a quick city trip or work visit. The room was spotless, with a minimalist look, light blue accent walls, warm wood, and local architecture in the wall art. I liked the generously sized desk and ergonomic workspace, and the frosted bathroom glass has an interesting map-like design. Handy extras included an in-room safe, iron and ironing board, and a bright vanity mirror. The central location puts Sabarmati Ashram and Riverfront Park about 10-15 minutes away. At Cafe 1st Story, the butter chicken was excellent. It hits a nice balance of quality and value.

Head Chef Mr. Atif deserves a special mention for caring so warmly for us and our infant. He made special food for our baby with so much thought, and even our request for a small portion was met with real generosity. That kindness alone makes us want to return. We also appreciated Mr. Rohit Bist and the whole team at Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad. Check-in, reception, concierge, security, and restaurant staff all gave wonderful service. We couldn't find a single negative, and felt every box was ticked. From arrival onward, the stay was lovely and memorable. We look forward to coming back.

The food had a nice range and tasted delicious, and the hotel had a calm, premium feel. Its location works well for business or leisure. My room was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. The staff were polite, professional, and quick to help, and check-in and check-out were smooth. A great stay at Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad. I'd happily return and recommend it.

After I booked Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad, I read some negative reviews and got worried enough to fly to Ahmedabad and join our school tour, expecting problems. That concern turned out to be misplaced. Our group of students from a prestigious school in Rajasthan had a wonderful stay, with warm, sincere, professional service and everything running smoothly. Rohit Bisht from Food & Beverage, Chef Aatif, Sangay at the Front Desk, Ragini in Reservations, Gajendra, the Front Office Manager, and Mina at Café First Story all took great care of the students and made sure they were comfortable and happy. It saddened me to see criticism online that felt unfair compared with what we experienced. I'll confidently recommend this property for our future Ahmedabad school groups, knowing they'll be well looked after. Thank you to the whole Fairfield Ahmedabad team for making the trip memorable. There was a bit of a language barrier, but we could always find someone who knew some English. From the entrance and front desk to the dining room and housekeeping, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help.
