Kanan Hotel

The room had a good view, and opening the windows let clear air in. It was clean and well maintained, with good quality beds. We also had good tea, and the waiting area was nice. Service was good, and the staff spoke softly and were well mannered. It was a good stay.

We stayed for 2 days and had a very nice experience. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, which we really appreciated.

It’s about 3 km from SVBP international airport, so it’s an okay place for business travellers catching flights. My room was clean and good, but the toilet needs improvement. I didn’t try breakfast because my flight was early and I had to leave at 4:30 am. Overall, a good experience, though the staff should be more courteous and professional.

The building looks good, but the rooms are average, and the hotel as a whole was average, not very impressive. Hot water took quite a while, while the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting. Reception said there were connection issues. We ordered two cups of tea and waited an hour. The price was a whopping 82 Rs for the tea and that wait. There’s a restaurant below, but the service is very slow. The food was good, though expensive. We were the only ones hanging out at the hotel. There’s an Amul outlet next door that’s good and reasonably priced. We realised too late that we should’ve gone there for food, snacks, and tea.
