I can’t recommend The Aeraj Hotel, Ahmedabad after how I was treated. I was leaving my ground-floor room, with my luggage still inside, when a staff member asked if I had the key. I said I did. He then demanded that I hand it over straight away and said losing it would cost ₹500. He also said I couldn’t go beyond the counter area or up to the terrace while carrying it. The way he spoke to me was rude and unprofessional. When I said that wasn’t acceptable, nobody apologized or showed any regret. I found the whole attitude toward guests hurtful and shocking.

The complimentary breakfast was a real plus: parotha, ommelette, chole bhature, dhokla, poha, and masala tea, all very good quality. We stayed six days as a family and felt safe, with polite, helpful staff and good hospitality. The location was decent too. Our room was suddenly changed on the second day because of an unexplained plumbing issue, with very little notice. That was annoying. At reception, Mr. Pradhan was always cheerful and supportive, and took good care of room service and the daily cleaning. In the end, it was a good stay. Thanks to the team and management.

Biryani and the chicken starters were the standouts, and we wanted more. It’s a new hotel in a prime spot, with delicious food and good value for money. A place worth visiting.

The room was spacious, and I found the bed and mattress size very comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, and the employees are really good. Breakfast was hygienic, with good quality food, and the staff were all good too.
