Maan Residency Hotel

The restaurant staff were good, and the food was good too. But the toiletries were poor: no small soap or toothpaste, and the liquids were kept in local bottles. I couldn't see a real difference between the executive and Super deluxe rooms, apart from one extra bed in the Super deluxe. With only that, why would an individual book the more expensive room? Better amenities should come with it.

We came for a family get-together, and the hotel had room options for different group sizes. It's in Ahmedabad City center, with Ahemdabad Junction around 6k.m. away. The rooms and washroom were clean and good value for money. TV, AC, and water heater all worked well, the food was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked several rooms at Hotel Maan Residency, and it seemed each had a problem. Some had leaking taps, broken exhaust fans, or TVs that didn't work; others were missing hangers. With kettles and heaters broken, we couldn't make a hot drink or take a warm bath in the cold weather. Calls to the front desk went unanswered, and when we eventually found an attendant, they either couldn't fix things or took ages to show up. The old lift was painfully slow. The stairs felt unsafe, with sharp edges and low ceilings. It seemed like the hotel didn't care about guests, and when we complained at checkout, staff didn't acknowledge the problems or write anything down. We won't stay here again, and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

I spent 16 days here and felt at home. The rooms were okay, but the staff were outstanding and took care of my needs quickly. Breakfast was provided each morning, and on days I couldn't get there, someone called to remind me, which I appreciated. The location was excellent, with tea stalls, restaurants, snack places, and other things close by. I'd definitely return. The smell near the temple downstairs and beside the counter could be avoided.
