Prithvi Hotels

We stayed for a day while attending a wedding function. The rooms are cozy, with clean washrooms that are a good size. They’re easy to get to, and there’s car parking. The beds are only just big enough for two, though, so having a child with you would make it uncomfortable.

Many of our roughly 300 guests openly complained about the food, and we felt embarrassed and insulted as hosts. We held a Lohri function at Prithvi Hotel, choosing a ₹465 per plate menu and expecting basic quality and service. The hotel charged the full amount despite the problems, without acknowledging them or apologizing. The two soups were tasteless, watery like dirty water, unhygienic and below any hotel standard. Both starters were poor in taste and presentation, and even the Gajar ka Halwa was badly prepared. They didn’t provide complimentary water bottles at this paid banquet event. Service was extremely poor, with inattentive and unprofessional staff. This was a failure of hospitality, service and accountability, and I strongly do not recommend Prithvi Hotel for family functions, banquets or large gatherings. Look elsewhere if you value your money, dignity and guests.

I ordered biryani and chicken khybar, then asked the person taking my order to add five roti to the order I’d just placed. He didn’t pass that on. The roti took 20 minutes to prepare, and by the time the rest of my order arrived, it had been sitting outside for 20 minutes. When I asked them to replace it, they refused. Worst experience. Don’t go to “PRITHVI HOTEL MANINAGAR BRANCH”!

The rooms were all great. Just one issue: the bathroom was a bit cramped, and the shower didn’t work properly.
