Treebo Grand Shivay

We had a very bad experience, and I’d especially tell families to avoid this hotel. The staff didn’t behave well. The beds and sheets weren’t clean, and the rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes, as if they hadn’t been cleaned or aired before guests arrived. Even after several requests, they hesitated to turn on the geyser. They need to hire staff who know how to treat guests.

The complimentary breakfast was nothing, and the room had poor ventilation. It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, as if someone had smoked inside, and there was no proper cleaning. Only after I complained did they give me another room the next day. Stains were everywhere, and several bathrooms had commodes coming loose. At least the bathroom and commode should be cleaned before a new guest arrives. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in.

A genuine, unexpected flight cancellation meant I couldn’t check in, but the hotel chain offered no help at all. They wouldn’t refund me, change the dates, or show any flexibility. Their customer service showed no empathy or accountability. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I used the room for two nights, and it was so small that I couldn’t feel comfortable. There was hardly any space between the bed and the box below the TV. The mattress was smaller than the bed frame, and my son hurt his leg because of it. The commode seat cover was broken too. Things like this can happen on a vacation, and it made the stay a very poor experience.
