The backwater views made this such a peaceful, refreshing boating trip in beautiful Alleppey. I loved it.

The staff and people here were good, and there’s a nice space to sit. The room was good, and we had a terrace with a view of the backwater boats. We stayed for two nights. The backwater view is lovely, though you’ll need to order food online since hotels are about 1.5 km away.

The food on Alice Houseboat was amazing, and the crew were friendly and spoke several languages. We had a wonderful time. The captain was friendly and had a lot of insight to share. The rooms inside the boat felt a little outdated.

We booked three rooms and had a really bad experience. The living area was in a pathetic, hazardous condition, and I’m attaching a picture for reference. The bedsheet had already been used by multiple people, and the rooms felt shady. The manager seemed as though he was on some drug, and his behaviour was ignorant and abusive. The owner was very rude too. I’m giving five stars only so you’ll notice this review as a red signal.

So far, my favorite thing is the great view from the balcony.
