We spent 2 nights here with our family and kids in October 2019, and it was a comfortable, relaxed stay. The owner was friendly and helpful, and arranged a short boat trip as well as a boat house stay. The boat house was clean and good, and the food there was excellent. Breakfast was good too. It's close to the market and the main boat house locations. Thank you!

The place is beautiful and well connected, and the Alleppey market is only about a 5-7 minute drive away. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast prepared by Matthew was tasty and filling, and the service was good. Meals can be arranged if you let them know ahead of time. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Rooms were clean and neat, and Owner Mathew was helpful. We had booked 3 rooms for one day, but our train ran late, so Mathew let us stay more than 5 hours past 12pm. We also took a Shikara boat through him at a good price. Mathew helped make our Alleppey trip a good one. The property is hardly 1 km from the boarding point.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and even stayed relaxed when I called at 2 in the morning for a bottle of water. Thanks to Mathew and his colleague for making things work. The property is on the main road to Finishing point, with easy access to public transport. There are no lake views, so a garden-facing room is the best option. It's a large villa converted into a resort, so room sizes vary. Alleppey is humid, and mosquitoes can be a problem if you leave doors and windows open, another reason to choose an AC room. They serve only a basic breakfast with tea or coffee, which is nice, but no lunch or dinner. I wouldn't book a boat, houseboat, or Shikara through the hotel. Go to the lake and negotiate a good deal.

The owner or caretaker, Mathew, was helpful and courteous, and the room was large enough for a family. The price seemed okay for this kind of stay, and the location was peaceful, near the canals and about 2 km from the KSRTC bus stand. Autos were easy to find outside, though fares in Alleppey can be high, around Rs 50/- to Rs 80/- for a 2 km ride. We stayed 3 nights but got no food except morning tea. There are few food options within walking distance, so we went into the city for dinner before coming back. I couldn't find room service and had to call Mathew for water. None of the rooms had a good view. This may work for backpackers, but there are quite a few similar homestays in Alleppey.
