Collection O 36951 The Ambassador Hotel

This place now runs on its own as a newly furnished, modern hotel and isn't managed by OYO. The pictures are outdated. Book through Make my Trip or GO Ibibo. Shame on Oyo for continuing to promote a property it doesn't manage.

I was nervous about the low ratings because I needed an inexpensive room, but my stay didn't match them at all. I found the hotel hygienic and liked the breakfast too. Mujhe toh hotel bht aacha laga aur breakfast v yaha ka. The bhaiya and didi at reception were polite and very helpful. My room was dirty when I first arrived, apparently because some guests checked out late. I told reception, and they sorted it out and cleaned everything. It seems suitable for a short visit or a longer stay, and I felt safe there. They didn't question couples at check-in, and you can also come with friends. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

The building itself is good, but cleanliness and hygiene were awful. There were small bugs all over my bed, as the attached photo shows. I didn't ask to change rooms. There was no menu in my room, and when I ordered breakfast they brought the bill with it and collected payment right away, even though I was staying two nights. The bill was wrong too. A very bad experience.

I stayed for 4 days and found the property well maintained, with clean rooms and very polite staff. Room service was very good. The in-house kitchen made tasty food. Breakfast was decent, though it was much the same each day.
