The only good things were the beachside location and the lovely young man who looked after the rooms. The rooms were dirty and moldy, with cockroaches, and nothing like the pictures. There was no hot water, Wi-Fi, or privacy. The "manager" Anil drinks excessively every day. The price is way too high for what you get, since there are much better places for the same money. Look for somewhere else to stay.

Anil Chetta, the property owner, made sure our needs were personally taken care of, and took us out for a sea experience we'll never forget. The views and hospitality were mesmerizing. The location is also stunning, just 100 metres from Allepey Beach. Book without a second thought, my words aren't enough to describe what a gem of a person he is.

Anil is a great host and made our stay memorable. He can guide you on your tour, and he's a lifeguard who took us swimming in the morning. The hospitality and water activities were the best experience. Everyone should visit Alleppey and stay with him.

We wouldn't have had this experience anywhere else. The caretaker was very friendly and helped us go into the sea with his life jacket. Our whole trip was a success because of this homestay.
