OYO 9668 Chilanka Lake View Resort

The view is lovely, though getting to the resort takes some effort. It’s set a little way in, and vehicles and autos can’t reach it. The staff were friendly and willing to take us by scooty to the main road, after the nearby bridge where vehicles can’t go. Our group included kids and senior citizens, and we had a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, but some had a dusty smell that could bother people with allergies. Breakfast was good, though the food timings weren’t punctual. The place would have been wonderful if they’d paid more attention to details like room amenities and timing. Aalam deserves a big thumbs up. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and available whenever we had a question or needed assistance. We found the resort good value when booking directly with them.

I had a wonderfully peaceful stay. The property sits right in front of the backwater lake and is very beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Mr Alam was just a call away and took care of everything, including helping with boating, taxis, and other things at comparatively low prices, with quality rides. Many thanks to Alam brother. poco the dog is also very beautiful and friendly, and my wife was delighted to meet him. We should also do our part by keeping the property clean and following the basic rules.

The food was delicious and freshly made, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. At Chilanka Lake View Resort, the rooms were comfortable and clean, with a lovely view over the water. The quiet lakeside setting made it easy to relax. I had a refreshing, memorable stay and would happily recommend it to anyone after a calm, scenic getaway.

I appreciated how honestly they described the walkway before we arrived. They said it might be challenging, especially with my pregnant wife, but when we got there it was actually quite simple. That kind of straightforward communication mattered to me. They seemed to value honesty over simply converting a lead. Our stay at Chilanka was pleasant, felt safe, and was truly worth the money. Hats off to the service. We hope to meet Deepika next time, and I’ll definitely bring your “bhai” along if you send him. He’s such a good staff member and a real asset to your team.
