Treebo Vsaffron Regency, Punnamada Lake

The staff were polite, and after we complained they did change the bedding. But we had already lost a lot of time dealing with the problems. The location wasn't great either, with no good restaurants or food options nearby. We booked through the Treebo brand, which costs more than nearby homestays, so I expected better cleanliness, facilities, and value. Several homestays around there seem to offer more for the money. Our room was extremely dirty at check-in, with hair everywhere, and there was no soap or shampoo. The AC didn't work, and the TV was practically useless, with very limited functions and no smart features. It was a very disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend the property.

I'm a YouTuber and stayed for one day. The hotel is near Punnamada House boats, and the room itself was good, but the AC wasn't in good condition. It still hadn't cooled the room nearly half an hour after check-in. I told the receptionist, who asked me to wait another 30 minutes. I waited around 2-3 hours and asked several times to change rooms, but they didn't. By the end, staying there felt like a waste of money.

I stayed for one night on holiday, and the room was small for two people. There was no mini fridge, the TV didn't work, and they hadn't provided soap or shampoo. Only one complimentary water bottle was given for two guests, and we had to pay for any more. That seems unreasonable for a hotel claiming 3-star status. It didn't meet basic 3-star standards.

The location offered no views, and the internet didn't work. The only clean thing was the room. Staff weren't professional and behaved rudely. Breakfast was bad and wasn't ready until 8:30, which was too late for me. I asked if it could be served earlier and got a rude refusal. The bathroom flush was leaking, so they moved me, but the replacement room was smaller and below the category I'd booked. Not recommended, as you can find a better hotel for the same budget.
