Bhide Retreat

The pool was a bit small, but it was clean, and the rooms were nice. We went as a group of 80, and the food was good. The staff were cooperative too. It was a nice experience and a good spot for group gatherings.

Parking was the main headache. There isn't much space, and to get our car out we had to ask two other guests to move theirs. With the narrow streets outside, street parking isn't really an option either. We booked two rooms for two nights; the hotel and rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and each room had a small veranda facing the village street. The staff were very polite. The restaurant offered only a veg or non-veg choice, even on the weekend, but the food served was very good quality. Basic toiletries were provided. In both rooms the AC remotes didn't work, so the units could only be switched on or off at the mains. Staff tried several remotes without success. One room also had a broken intercom and electric kettle.

Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian food were delicious, with traditional dishes like fish fry, fish curry, kothimbir vadi, ukadiche modak, and solkadi. Amansara Bhide Retreat is a clean, well-kept place with spacious rooms, conveniently located a short walk from Kihim Beach. A very good Alibaug staycation choice for a relaxing, memorable getaway.

We had a pleasant, relaxing stay in a clean property, and it felt like good value for money. The location is very good, close to Mandwa jetty, and the food was homely, though the traditional food could use a little improvement. Customer care and hospitality were good, and the staff were polite and cooperative. Thanks to Vallari Mam and the staff. I'd recommend it to friends and relatives.
