Hotel Aloha Inn Alibag by Treebo

The bed was clean and there was good parking, but most of the stay was frustrating. The pool was shared and not clean enough, the balcony was dirty, and there was no Wi-Fi in my second-floor room. The TV wouldn't connect to the internet and the cable wasn't working. Power went out at 3 AM, and the room landline didn't work. The food was oily. Reception was empty about 90% of the time, and when we asked for glasses and water nobody came, so we had to get them ourselves. Scam alert: rooms were cheaper on makemytrip, but the person at reception said they don't take and cancel bookings made through makemytrip.

The food was good, and the kitchen seemed relatively clean, with the cooks keeping up hygiene. Snehal, who has the property on a long lease, was very well mannered. It's a budget stay worth what you pay, as long as you don't expect too much. The place is about 5 kms from the opposite end of Kihim beach, among village homes and open fields. There are lots of birds, and you hear roosters each morning. There's no lift, so reaching the 2nd floor takes some effort, and the pool needs maintenance. Guests should have their own conveyance.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were very nice and polite. The pool was clean, and they provide speakers so you can play your own songs. Food was below average, and any order took 45 50 min to prepare. We booked 3 rooms for 3 days and 2 nights through OYO and had already paid the full amount, but at the hotel management said they had no such booking. They have an issue with OYO, so check that your booking is confirmed before leaving home.

We were charged for deluxe rooms but given classic rooms. There was no proper management, and we had problems with electricity, water, food, and service. The dining area wasn't kept hygienic. Very disappointing.
