SIDZ Cottage

The baby pool was a big hit with our little one, and it was lovely to see the baby enjoy the water safely. The main pool and shared areas stayed clean, calm, and uncrowded. We were also close to Nagaon Beach, a beautiful, clean spot for walks and family time. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the property felt fresh and well cared for. Traveling with a baby, I asked for simple dal-rice meals, and the staff prepared them properly every time. That was a real comfort and made things stress-free. The resort food was good, and we enjoyed fresh mangoes grown on site. The team was courteous and attentive from check-in onward, making us feel at home. The peaceful grounds and thoughtfully designed spaces made it easy to relax away from the city. A memorable stay at Sidz Resort, Nagaon, highly recommended.

The garden trees, chickoo, jackfruit, bananas, pineapple, mangoes, cashew, and mallige’s, brought back memories of my hometown Mangalore. The resort is peaceful and beautiful, and though it’s 21 years old, it looks like it was built just a year ago. The pool and shared areas were spotless and never crowded. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. We were initially told that limited cuisine would be available because of staffing constraints during local elections, but they managed to serve everything we asked for with just one chef in the house. Kudos to Manish, the manager, Mr Sushil, the owner, and the chef. We left relaxed and refreshed, already thinking about a return. The one drawback was the road trip from Mumbai, which took nearly 4-5 hours. Mandwa Jetty is 25 km away, so we chose M2M Ro Ro on our way back. A calm place for a romantic escape or stress-free holiday, highly recommended.

The owners were around and available throughout, and their humble, helpful staff never shirked their duties. It really felt like a home away from home. Sidz Cottage is thoughtfully designed and surrounded by so many trees and so much greenery that we didn't feel a need to go out. Still, the beaches and nearby sights are within easy reach. We stayed with family from 12th to 15th May in the Village 3 room, and it turned out to be one of our best decisions. The place hadn’t shown up in our usual searches, but Claude AI highly recommended it for a short break, and it was a great recommendation. When I called, the owner herself, Shilpa, answered, welcomed us warmly, offered the best rates, and quickly gave us the information we needed. It was a lovely family stay. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Sidz Cottage, and God willing, we’ll be back. Keep up the wonderful spirit, and best of luck!

We’ve been back several times, and each stay has been better than the last. It’s a spacious, leafy property close to the beach, with clean rooms and delicious home-cooked food. There’s a great swimming pool with a separate kids’ pool, plus plenty of indoor games. Both veg and non-veg meals are available and consistently tasty. The place is very kid-friendly, and they’ll take special food requests for children and senior citizens and prepare them well. Staff are polite and attentive. A special mention for Manish, who’s always ready to help, knows the area well, and guides you on where to find things. He handles little and big requests with a smile. We’ll definitely visit again soon.
