OYO 15848 Hotel Mahajan Palace

I recently spent three days at Hotel Mahajan Palace in Aligarh, and it was a very bad experience. The room and bathroom were very dirty, and the room itself was in very poor condition. Staff weren't cooperative. They also charged separately for water each day, saying that was the hotel's policy.

The rooms and washrooms were in very poor shape, with no hygiene or maintenance. The AC was also in bad condition. Staff were asleep, and nobody answered when I called. The facilities were awful and the fare was far too high.

There was no privacy because the bathroom doors would only stay half open or half shut. Water leaked in the bathrooms, and the rooms were in terrible condition too. If I could rate this below one star, I would. There is plenty more I could say, but in one word, disgusting.

I stayed for 5-6 days, and they never cleaned either of the two rooms I occupied. There was just one charging point in the whole room, and staff were unwilling to accommodate anything. They wouldn't even provide a plate for our food. Every morning the tea came without sugar, and when I asked for some, they refused. One of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I'd say don't stay here.
