The Royal Orchard Kasol Riverside

Our stay at Hotel Royal Orchard, Kasol was frightening and deeply unpleasant. I'd advise families and anyone wanting peace and safety to avoid it. The hotel says it has a no alcohol policy, and a reception board lists Quiet Hours from 11 PM to 7 AM, but neither rule was enforced. Guests drank openly, sang loudly, and caused a disturbance until 2:00 AM. We complained at 12:30 AM because our child was being woken, but staff took no meaningful action. Even after police became involved, things didn't improve. Staff seemed powerless, while the manager slept and appeared unbothered. After we complained, the same group repeatedly banged on our door to harass us, which felt extremely frightening and unsafe with a child. The management's replies to other negative reviews also seem defensive rather than responsible, with no accountability or concern for guest safety. This place has serious noise and safety problems. I would never recommend it.

PK, Rajesh, and Pintu took such good care of us during our stay. The room was beautiful, the location stunning, and the food was delicious. It felt like home, and we arrived as customers but left as friends. Mr. PK's enthusiasm and jindadil nature made the experience even more memorable.

The food was the only good thing about this hotel. On our Chandigarh to Manali trip, our package included unlimited food, but they gave just 10 gulab jamun for our 15 people. When we asked for more, we were told the gulab jamun was limited. No other hotel had told us sweets were limited. We also paid extra to have heaters in all our rooms. The power was out from 1:30am to 7 am, so the heaters didn't work. When we called reception at 6 am, the person said, "Sir, the generator person is sleeping, so it can't be done right now." Running the generator was their responsibility, and that excuse was unacceptable. Worst hotel on our trip.

PK bhai made the evenings unforgettable with his singing, energy, and warmth. The calm setting, lovely views, food, and overall vibe all felt just right, and the staff were sweet, attentive, and made us feel cared for. Royal Orchard, Kasol was the peaceful break I didn't know I needed. I'd recommend visiting, and for me it was an 11/10 experience.
