The atmosphere felt peaceful, and the room was clean, modern, and well looked after. The bed was comfortable and the lighting was nice too. A pleasant stay for the price, I'd recommend it.

Rotting garbage left an awful smell around the hotel, and the bathroom was in a terrible state. Its floor was dirty, and most of the fittings had rust on them. The bedding was filthy and the mattress uncomfortable. The room itself was really bad.

You can wait through four calls before anyone shows up, and the service is bad. Worse, they leave dirty sheets on the bed and refuse to replace them when asked. Is this really what you get after choosing a place from its online listing or booking online?

I was so shaken by what happened that it took me days to write this. I stayed August 23-25, 2024, on a solo trip to Delhi, my first time there. I'd travelled alone for three years and had never seen paan spit all over hotel walls. I booked Fab hotels at the last minute because it was near work, and trusting them was a terrible decision. I was exhausted when I arrived, then immediately upset by how dirty everything was. I didn't want to sit in the room, but I was alone with nowhere else to go. I asked reception for two clean sheets. A staff member was assigned to clean, but instead he offered another room and said it would be cleaned. I waited an hour in the first filthy room. The replacement looked clean from the doorway, but the bedding was just as spotted once I lifted the blanket. The pillows were extremely dirty, and there was spit in that room too. Its bathroom had no geyser. When I asked, they said the first room had one, but since other guests had moved in after I complained, they couldn't do anything. The plastic fittings were dirty, the toilet hadn't been cleaned, and the floor was so muddy after mopping that my feet turned black when it dried. I wore sandals indoors. The bath mat was caked in dirt, the corners had paan stains, and there was a rat in my room. Even the neatly folded towel they brought me was dirty and torn. The room felt like a filthy railway station. The second day was worse. The room phone was just for show, so I called reception on my mobile for two water bottles and got one. At 7 pm, after work, I asked for room temperature packaged water. They said only cold water was available and I couldn't get regular water then. I was frustrated. The lift wasn't working either, and I was on the second floor. Late that night I heard staff banging on other doors, singing, making noise, and dragging laundry. At 12:30 am someone tried to open my door. There was no inside latch apart from the main lock. I was terrified and quietly moved the table against the door, then wedged my shoulder bag under it. Around 2:30 am the person tried again, struggling at the door almost three times. I stayed ready with pepper spray and scissors and had the nearest police station's number at hand. I put a bottle and the remote on the handle so I'd hear if they tried again. They didn't, and I checked out quickly the next day. The lobby was full of men. I left without complaining because I'd taken pictures and just wanted to get out safely. I've stayed with Fab hotels before and had a great experience, but after this I'm never trusting them again. They should delist this hotel. I didn't see any overnight guests there, only couples who came, did their business, and left. Don't be taken in by the hotel pictures like I was. This was a nightmare, and I don't want anyone else to go through it.
