OYO 60869 Sandhana Homestay

Finding the place was a hassle because the name had a spelling mistake, and the location and transport connections were bad. There was no WiFi and the network was terrible. The rooms were very poor, with lots of ants and cockroaches. The owner behaved rudely and, even after we asked repeatedly, refused to serve us food at night.

The owner was good, and it felt safe, with CCTV cameras and gates. I have no other complaints, though service was quite slow, perhaps because it was Puja festival and they were a little understaffed.

I brought my family here and wasn’t disappointed. The rooms were maintained and furnished well, and the staff were efficient and hardworking. It’s also easy to reach by public transport.

After I arrived at the homestay in the middle of the night, I was left stranded. I’d booked, but was delayed for some reason, and between 11 and midnight neither the homestay manager or owner answered the phone, nor did the OYO manager help. I had to walk 3 km back to the nearest railway station. This stay isn’t worth your time or money. OYO has completely turned away from the principles it started with and is showing its true face by betraying everyone. Around midnight, they put me on hold for 45 minutes, two or three times. I strongly condemn them. If they only want to make big money and won’t offer a solution, they’re doing wrong.
